Welcome to PitkinTransport Service | Pitkin Transport Service Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated family business. Established in 1928 by Herbert Charles Pitkin, the company was taken over by his son-in-law John Sweeney in 1954. Current owner and director Paul Sweeney joined the company in 1962, and eventually took over from his father John in 1978. After years of experience servicing the Sydney waterfront, Paul was instrumental in establishing Port Botany Container Depot, which is more commonly known to this day as Patrick Port Services. Following the sale of Port Botany Container Depot in 2001, Paul retained Pitkin Transport Service into its current day operation, servicing the industry with a high level of experience in transportation, storage and warehousing. In 2009, together with his son's Stephen and Mark, Paul continues the family tradition of Pitkin Transport, offering years of experience through our current day to day operations. |
